Since 1981 the group has grown from a single machining workshop in Bhosari into two companies with plants in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, covering everything from die casting to tested, ready-to-fit assemblies.

The group’s founding company. SGEW started in 1981 with aluminium components and bar & forged machined parts. It added an assembly and sub-assembly plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in 1991, and an HPDC & GDC foundry at Unit 2, Pimpri, in 2022.
